Psalm 127 begins, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the labors build in vain.” The Psalm is speaking of the exciting rebuilding project of the temple in Jerusalem in the 6th century BC, but the leaders soon figured out that its construction would take 20 years! What did the priest and people do for worship and ministry without a temple? They adapted.
